How much is admission to Poorcastle Festival 2024?

​How can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available at a discounted rate in advance online at www.poorcastle.com. Tickets will be available at the front gate and can be purchased by cash or card.
Is Poorcastle Festival open to all ages?
Yes, Poorcastle Festival welcomes all ages with free admission to those 12-years-old and under! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are allowed *ONLY* if on a leash with proof of potty bags.
What can I bring into the festival with me?
Chairs, blankets, ponchos, umbrellas, unopened water bottles, and empty water canteens are allowed inside the festival.
NOT ALLOWED: Weapons, outside food or alcohol, opened beverages. List subject to change. All persons and bags are subject to search.

Where can I park to attend the festival?
There is plenty of street parking available on Payne Street and Lexington Road and parking is also allowed in the lot at Breckenridge Elementary. Please DO NOT park in Headliners Music Hall designated lot.
​Are bicycles allowed?
Yes, bicycles are allowed but must either stay chained up outside of festival grounds or can only be walked (not ridden) if brought into the festival.
As a musician, how can I submit to perform at Poorcastle Festival 2024?
Poorcastle Festival 2024 submission forms have closed, but they will open up for 2025 in November. Please stay tuned to our social media platforms for announcements.
I have submitted to Poorcastle Festival 2024. How do I know if my submission was accepted?
If your group has been accepted, you will be contacted at the email address provided no later than March 1, 2024.

Do musicians get paid?
All participation in Poorcastle Festival is on a voluntary basis. All proceeds benefit three local nonprofit youth organizations: Louisville Leopard Percussionists, AMPED, and Out Loud Louisville.
